The crew was out doing sewage cleanup in Olympia Fields this weekend. A toilet backup led to damage on the main floor in the kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom areas. There was also damage in the basement including sewage dripping from the HVAC system.
The call came in overnight on Saturday, so emergency crews were able to get there within the hour. We actually beat the local plumber to the scene. Our crew was able to get most of the sewage up and out the way for the plumber. The emergency water removal crew was also able to get the drying process going by dropping some air movers and dehumidifiers.
Our LGR dehumidifiers and commercial grade air movers were able to generate enough heat to dry the home within 72 hours. We were also able to do the air duct cleaning.
